SALDO ÓPTIMO DE EFECTIVO
Para llegar a definir el saldo óptimo efectivo de una empresa se requiere determinar el ciclo operativo, para lo cual se impone elestudio de la tecnología del negocio, definir las políticas de inventario y de créditos a clientes. El Saldo Óptimo de Efectivo es la disponibilidad deefectivo que debe poseer la empresa en caja y banco. Cuando la empresa no es capaz de mantener el Saldo Óptimo, presenta déficit de caja (Requiere financiamiento acorto plazo); si por el contrario, mantiene en caja y banco cifras superiores al Saldo Óptimo, presenta exceso de caja (Recursos líquidos ocioso). El SaldoÓptimo de Efectivo es una medida máxima y mínima de efectivo disponible que sirve de referencia para la planeación, ejecución y control del presupuesto deefectivo.
