Dictionary 2000 Faq.

Dictionary 2000 is a dictionary program which can translate between any of
the supported languages .NowEnglish,French,German,Russian,Polish,Latin,Swedish,
Norwegian,Portuguese,Spanish,Italian languages available and possible to translate from
any to any of this languages.Your distribution may have less dictionaries , but you can
download them: surf.to/stepanyuk.The architecture of program is so that when you add
for example Spanish word using English translation this word will be automaticaly
connected with all dictionaries and willbe available as a translation and source
when you translate to Spanish from any language or to any language from Spanish.
Words in different dictionaries are connected via numerical cofficients.Version 4.1.

Translating words
To translate word you must select dictionaries,enter word , and press "Translate"
button. Ifword you entered is unknown to program you will get closest word to input.
Then you will get one or few translations.To change direction to contraty press "Reverse" .

Adding / Deleting words
Thereare two ways of adding words.You can click add/delete item from Dictionary
menu item and add or delete words and translations manualy,separated by comma
and then press Add or Delete button .Thesecond way is translating text dictionary to
Dictionary 2000 .dic format.Text file must have special format.
new words : translations ,or
translations : new words
New words and translations mustbe separated by comma , also you may use "Tab"
character instead of " : '.Also there are special rules for european characters.They
must be written in windows charset , or you may use such a rule: If a letter has some
character after it it will be followed with it.
Characters :
~ Letter will have tilde above it
/ - Accent
\ - Accent
. - Umlaut (:)
