The Dramatic Consequences of Law SB1070
The SB1070 is a project of immigration law in the United States, supported in a view of anti-immigration. The central idea of law is to wearthe immigrants by hard laws and then generate immigrants leave the country. First the project was implemented in state of Arizona in 2010, but some of more radical applications of the law have beenrestricted by special courts. Now the maximum court of the United States need to approve or not the clauses restricted to fully apply of the law. Some of restricted clauses are: 1) determine a statecrime if a person don’t carry immigration documents, 2) Police could arrest without court order people, only with suspect to be immigration crime, 3) criminalizes the people to work without documents.Now in The United States emerge a great debate around immigration problem, and people discuss the SB1070 law like a possible solution of immigration problem.
After the study of the law, the opinions ofthe experts show application of SB 1070 like a strong mistake, brings negative consequences. The main three reasons against the law are the following: First the law is not a solution of immigrationproblem, second the law generates discrimination, and finally affect the economy of some states.
The immigration laws cannot be created by single state; this is a task of the federal government. Ifthe maximum court permits the application of the law, in the future each state in the country promulgate a different type of immigration law, and also according to this federal model, the immigrantswill have the incentives to move other states, with more favorable norms. The creation of a general law of immigration needs a democratic the participation of every single state, with a study of allpossible consequences.
