Science project
Theme for this year’s Science Fair is an open theme, which means that the students can choose from any scientific field for their projects.
Deadlines for Science Fair Projects:Wednesday, May 11th, 2011: All students must have their Science Fair topics in.
Friday, May 13th, 2011: Hypotheses due.
Thursday, May 26th, 2011: Rough Drafts for Written Paper due.
Friday, My27th, 2011: Experimentation Complete- all data tables and graphs are due.
Wednesday June 1st, 2011: Complete Report Due:
• Abstract
• Title Page
• Hypothesis
• Review of Literature
• Materials
•Methods of Procedure
• Results( data tables, graphs, and experiments)
• Interpretation of data
• Conclusion
• Reference List (minimum of 10 sources)
• Use Century Gothic 12
May 30th-June 3rd,2011: Display Boards and Oral Presentations. Each group will be assigned a day to present their projects.
Wednesday, June 8th, 2011: Students will be bringing in their projects and leaving them intheir respective homerooms.
Thursday, June 9th, 2011: Students will be preparing their stations by decorating their stations, and by checking their station for electricity.
Friday, June 10th, 2011:SCIENCE FAIR from 9 AM to 12 PM.
