Introduction
This job is about the scientific method. Scientific methods are steps we need to learn to make an analysis about any question to life. I expect to learn how to use the scientific methodsteps properly so I can develop my experiment and to explain it correctly. My purpose is the reaction of heat to ice. Why ice melt in hot days? Why can water turn ice? And other question that arethat are such problem to humans.

Observation
Most of liquid things can turn solid if it takes cold temperature. If we take water and put it in the freezer it will definitely freeze. Why does itfreeze? Water can freeze, evaporate, and melt. If we observe water and its step, ice and vapor are interesting thing that happens all time in our daily life.

Ask question
* Why water can turn ice?* How water can melt?
* How water can evaporate?
* Are these terms related?

Make hypothesis
Does the temperature of eater affect the time it takes for the water freeze?

Materials* Water
* 3 containers (similar)
* Candy Thermometer (to measure temperature of water)
* Watch (to measure time it takes for water to freeze)
* Tablespoon (to measure the amount ofwater to put in the container)
* Microwave (to heat water)
* Freezer (to freeze water)

Experiment
1. I took 3 bottles of the same kind and size.
2. I labeled the three bottles as#1, #2, #3.
3. In #1 I put one tablespoon of water. The temperature of the water was at room temperature.
Bottle # | Amount of Water | Temperature of Water | Time put in freezer | Time ice formson top | Time taken to freeze |
#1 | 1 tablespoon | 70 F (room temp) | 10:54 am | 11:45 am | 51 minutes |
#2 | 1 tablespoon | 135 F (hot) | 10:54 am | 12:00 pm | 1 hour 14 minutes |
#3 | 1tablespoon | 200 F (very hot) | 10:54 am | 12:15 pm | 1 hour 29 minutes |
|
4. In #2 I put one tablespoon of water. The temperature of the water was hot (130o F).
5. In #3 I put one tablespoon...
