Can you tell which is the worst punishment ever? Some say is the punishment Zeus gave to Prometheus, He was chained to a mountain and every day an eagle would eat his liver. At night his liver wouldgrow again and the eagle would eat it next morning. Other people can say it was the task Atlas had. He hold heaven and earth all in his shoulders for eternity. For me it is the punishment Sisyphushad. He was punished Zeus and Hades, and his punishment was to roll a huge stone every morning to a top of a mountain in Hades. At night the rock would roll over and he would have to do it over again forthe rest of times. Why are these punishments so horrible? Is it the pain? Or the fact of being punished forever? Gods In Greek mythology had thought with some reason that there is no more dreadfulpunishment than futile and hopeless labor. Even though three punishments are terrible, the last one is the worst. In the next paragraphs I am going to tell you why.

Sisyphus was the smarter humanon earth. He was a rich merchant, which had a wife and a good life. One day all his life changes when Tanactos the god of the peaceful dead came looking for him. Sisyphus told his wife to not bury hisbody, so he won’t go to the underworld. He went to sleep but woke up in the Hades, feeling angry, he lied to Pluto, telling him he was going to chastise his wife for not doing what she was supposed,but when he got to the world and saw the plants, and butterflies, he escaped planning to never return. Hermes the messenger of the gods caught him and took him again to the Hades again, but withoutkilling him again. There Hades punished him, for disobeying him. He made him do what he thought it was the worst punishment, to do a never ending hopeless labor. He punishes Sisyphus to roll a hugerock to the top of a mountain and at night it would roll back again, he would have to push the rock over and aver again for eternity. Sisyphus would never die, but he would live without a meaning....
