Software Testing Specialist

Position Summary:
The Software Testing Specialist reports to the Software Quality Assurance Manager. The person inthis position will be responsible for system-wide testing of software/hardware/firmware components as they are used within the Neptune line of products. Duties will include designing and documentingtest cases and test scripts using HP Quality Center 10.0. Experience with test automation tools such as HP Quick Test Professional, database tools such as Sybase Interactive SQL and PowerShellscripting, and familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL are expected. Familiarity with web-based or cloud-based applications is a plus. The ideal candidate would be a proven team player and have demonstrated theability to work on cross-functional project teams in an Agile environment.

The Software Testing Specialist must demonstrate the ability to perform manual executions of test cases and scripts,analyze the results of those tests to identify and concisely document anomalies in HP Quality Center.
