Title: The Masque of the Red Death
Author: Edgar Allan Poe
Was an American author, poet, editor
and literary critic; he was part of the
American Romantic Movement. He wasborn in January 16th, 1809 in Boston,
Massachusetts and died in October 7th, 1849 in Baltimore, Maryland. His
most famous work was about the tales of mystery and macabre. He was
theinventor of the detective fiction and he contributed in the science fiction.
Setting: The story take place in a devastated country by the masque of the Red
Death; it is in an indeterminate time,but about the things it says make
us think about the V or VI centuries, which is in a huge castle specific in the
7 rooms.

Characters: Character Description
The Red Death A mysteriousphantom with a terrify face, a masque like a death
man, always covered with a coat and with nothing inside of it, like
a ghost..
The Prince Prospero A kind prince, well dressed, he was notfear about the phantom.
Brave, very wealthy and good designer (he designed his castle,
the party and the dresses)
The friends
of the prince The bravest friends. I imagine them as bigmen with dresses as
knights for fight in a war. With spades and strong boots

(Dancers, Waiters) Jesters, dancers waiters, and the other people in the party, dressed withcloaks and masques, horrible disguises taken of the worst nightmares.

Plot: The masque of the Red Death is a mysterious phantom that has been killing all people in the country; everyone it touches dieimmediately. The Prince Prospero who is not fair about that organize a masked ball for his bravest friends, in that party everything is strange, there is a horror environment, the dresses are horrifyand the huge clock makes the castle to being in a gloomy place. When the midnight arrives the red death appears and kills the prince, after that people knows that the masque of the red death will...
