RESUMEN
Con el propósito de contribuir a disminuir los riesgos por exposiciones agudas, sub agudas y crónicas a los gases anestésicos volátiles en los pabellonesquirúrgicos del Instituto Nacional del Tórax, se describe la situación de exposición ocupacional a estos gases.
Este estudio será de tipo descriptivo y cualitativo, de los ambientes laborales en los pabellones quirúrgicos del hospital; Inicialmente realizaremos un diagnostico señalando estado de los equipos anestésicos y describiendo sus características técnicas, y posteriormente se realizaráencuestas a los trabajadores para que describan las condiciones de riesgos que ellos perciban y los conocimientos de la Normativa Vigente.
Se pone en evidencia que las fugas de gases anestésicos, son un problema presente en el ambiente laboral del Instituto Nacional del Tórax, lo que indica los potenciales riesgo a que el personal medico se encuentra expuesto, el cual deberá subsanarse a la brevedad.y que las medidas de protección que se puedan aplicar a los trabajadores sean eficaces, especialmente si se detecta precozmente el problema, y antes de que se evidencien repercusiones derivadas de la intoxicación crónica.
El estudio deberá partir por la identificación de los factores responsables de la existencia de gases anestésicos residuales, apoyados por lo establecido en la legislaciónvigente en cuanto a condiciones de higiene y seguridad..

SUMMARY
In order to contribute to diminish the risks by acute and chronic acute exposures, sub of volatile anesthetic gases in the surgical pavilions of the National Institute of the Thorax, describes the situation of occupational exhibition to these gases.
Thisstudy will be of descriptive and qualitative type, of labor atmospheres in the surgical pavilions of the hospital; Initially we will carry on a diagnosis who indicate a state of an anesthetic equipment and describing its technical characteristics, and after surveys will be taken to the workers so that they describe the conditions of risks they perceive by themselves and the knowledge of theEffective Norm.
It is put in evidence that the anesthetic gas flights, are a present problem in the labor atmosphere of the National Institute of the Thorax, which indicates the potentials risk to which the medical personnel is exposed, which will have to be corrected to the brevity. and that the protection measures which they are possible to be applied to the workers are effective, especially ifthe problem is detected precociously, and before repercussions derived from the chronic poisoning are demonstrated.
The study will have to start off by the identification of the factors responsible for the residual anesthetic gas existence, supported by established in the effective legislation as far as conditions of hygiene and the security.
