Be Proactive

• Recognizing our responsibility,to make things happen.
• Adopting an attitude that is collaborative and responsible.
• To be proactive requires a shift in our thinking from a deficit-based model of education to acapacity model.

Begin with the end in mind

• Is based on imagination the ability to envision.
• Be able to envision the future, the possibilities.
• Once that picture isclear, it makes sense to decide what he or she must be taught in order to get there.
Put first things first
• Create a clear, mutual understanding of what needs to be accomplished.
•Spend time, be patient, visualize the desired result.
• Start with the most important things, and try to get it right.
Think win-win
• The agreements or solutions are mutuallybeneficial and satisfying.
• Think about your goal, try to be positive and increasingly make the best of yourself.
• . Reaching consensus indicates that power and control has beenshared.

Seek first to understand, then to be understood
• Seek first to understand involves a very deep shift in thinking.
• Most people do not listen with the intent tounderstand; they listen with the intent to reply
• Processes educators will listen to and understand parents; parents will listen to and understand educators.
Synergize
• It is teamwork,team building, the development of unity,
• Creativity with other human beings have been developed
• Collaboratively by a Trans disciplinary team.
Sharpening the saw
• It is thehabit of continuous improvement that lifts you to new levels of understanding.
• Living each of the habits that are life-style.
• have a continuous improvement whenever possible.
