MEALS
A: Hey, William, are you Reddy to go out for supper?
William: Not quite. After shaving I have to take a shower. How about you?
A: Oh! I am almost ready. I nevershave, ore than once a day. We would better hurry.
William: All right. I will be ready in a couple of minutes.
A: Now, where are we going to eat?
William: Well, thereare a lot of places we could go, a restaurant, a drug store, or a cafeteria. How hungry are you?
A: I am very hungry. I would like a good meal.
William: In that case, let’sgo to a restaurant.
A: How about this one over here on the corner? Shall we go in?
William: okay! I don’t care. There isn’t too much differences in restaurants.
AT THERESTAURANT
A: A table for two?
William: yes, sir, this way is this all right?
A: yes, thank you.
William: I will be right back… here is the menu.
A: Now, let’ssee. What are you going to have?
William: I don’t know very much about American food. I will have what you order for this time.
A: Have you made up your minds?
William:yes! We are both going to have the same order: fruit juice, roast turkey, mashed potatoes and green wines. What would you like for dessert?
ICE CREAM AND COFFE
A: do youwant cream in the coffee.
William: Not for me, I prefer it black.
A: All right, what will you have to drink?
William: I will have a martini, how about you, Tomas?
A:I want a beer what brands do you have?
William: we have high life- ballantine and Schlitz.
A: give me a high life please.
AT THE END
WILLIAM: That was a good meal,wasn’t it Tomas?
A: Yes, it certainly was. Let’s ask for the check.
WILLIAM: May we have the check please?
A: Would you like separate checks?
B: No, just one.
