Television is a very important method of mass communication that reaches all social classes and all Puerto Rico homes. This media has become a necessity rather than aluxury; it is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. It entertain, inform, and it has become a supplement for society. The television phenomenon, due to its availability in most households,is credited with having great influence on the behavior of all individuals. With the current economic crisis we live in, people find in TV a great deal of entertainment at a low cost. They also findan escape or a relaxing time and momentarily forget their living situations.
I believe that comedy has always been necessary and good for everyone. Personally when I am in a bad mood I use the TV as atherapy, watching a comedy helps me relax. No doubt that laughing generates joy and good humor. I chose the TV show "Mira Que Te Veo" because it is on at the right time, when people need a littlelaughs and forget about daily problems, in addition to the saturation of bad news that are received on the media. TVO, as the people know it, airs every Sunday at 8:00 on Telemundo Channel 2 to allPuerto Rican homes. After a 5 years of absence from TV, the acclaimed show of jokes TVO returned with a new concept encouraged by the popular comedian Tita Guerrero and produced by Tony Sanchez "ElGangster" and Ángel "Kcho" Santiago. With new jokes, new sections, classic jokes that the audiences want to see and contests where viewers can join the program. In the last 5 years, technology has advanceddramatically, so the internet and cell phones play an important role in the new version of TVO.
The experience of working for a day with the production team of "Mira Que Te Veo" was a very satisfyingexperience, full of emotions, anxieties and insecurities.
