Usamos el pasado simple para hablar de una acción o evento pasado que tuvo lugar en un punto específico del pasado. Podemos decir exactamente cuándo ocurrió, o no, si así lo preferimos.Ejemplos

1.-Yesterday I went to the cinema.
Ayer fui al cine
2.-This morning I went to the supermarket.
Esta mañana fui al supermercado
3.-Last year I travelled around Europe.

4.-I worked for the same company for two years.
