RESUMEN

En este trabajo se presenta una metodología para la evaluación de las propiedadescolectoras de las rocas que componen los prospectos petroleros de un área determinada mediante el análisis conjunto de los datos geofísicos de pozo y sísmicos y que incluyen técnicas tales como: calculo de sismogramas sintéticos, análisis estadístico sobre el comportamiento del campo de velocidades sísmicas de procesamiento, con el empleo del Análisis Euclidiano de Agrupaciones, determinación dela correlación entre la porosidad y las velocidades sísmicas y acústicas (obtenidas de los registros de pozos) y por ultimo la evaluación de la porosidad y del mejor modelo de las curvas de compactación.

La aplicación de estas técnicas en algunos bloques de la costa norte de Cuba permitió aportaran información adicional sobre la constitución geológica de la región investigada donde lascondiciones sismogeológicas son por lo visto muy desfavorables, confirmado por el Análisis Euclidiano de Agrupaciones que define, por una parte, al menos tres agrupaciones diferentes, y por otra, que el corte no puede ser asociado a un solo modelo y que algunos de los modelo obtenido por la clasificación probablemente refleja en determinada medida la profundidad de yacencia del tope de margencontinental. Por otra parte, fueron determinadas las correlaciones entre las velocidades sísmicas y acústicas de pozo y la de esta ultima con la porosidad, mediante las que se pudo determinar el mejor modelo de la curva de compactación.
ABSTRACT
In this work a methodology is presented for the evaluation of the physical properties of the rocks that compose the oil prospects of a certain area by meansof the combined analysis of the geophysical data of well and seismic and that they include technical such as: calculate of synthetic sismograms, statistical analysis on the behavior of the field of seismic velocities of processing, with the employment of the Cluster Analysis, determination of the correlation between the porosity and the seismic and acoustic velocities (obtained from theregistrations of wells logs) and for the evaluation of the porosity and of the best model in the compactación curves.
The application of these techniques in some blocks of the north coast of Cuba allowed they contributed additional information on the geologic constitution of the investigated region where the sesimogeologics conditions are for it seen very unfavorable, confirmed on one hand by theCluster Analysis that defines, at least three different groupings, and for other that the cut cannot be associated to a single model and that some of the pattern obtained by the probably reflective classification in certain measure the depth of the continental margin boundary. On the other hand, the correlations were determined between the seismic and acoustic velocities of well and the one of this itfinishes with the porosity, by means of those that you the best model in the compactación curve could determine.
