SKINHEADS
Skinheads were born in 1969 in England. They are descendants of the Mod subculture. Mods were middle-class young people who liked fancy clothing, thescooters and street fights.
At the middle of the 60’s into hard Mods, some boys wore clothing related with working class, like boots and suspenders. Also, they used to shavetheir head. for this reason, they were named noheads, baldheads, cropheads or suedeheads. They were named skinheads definitely until 1969.

His taste for the same typeof music and clothing were the things that united the skinheads. In the same way, the football and the violent resolution of the conflicts are part of their philosophy.The most visible characteristic from the skinheads are obviously the haircut, but our first impression is that all skinheads are bald. It’s a misconception becauseskinheads can have other hairstyles, for example, short haircut, and hair a little long (suedeheads) in men, and Chelsea (bald head with a fringe), Feathercut or Sort inwoman. You can’t identify a skinhead only with the haircut, but is almost always the most visible characteristic. Skinheads have a lot of characteristics. Skinhead’s clothes brands usually are from Europe. Now, we can see Skinheads men and women dress very similar.
