The movie has an interesting background about modern discrimination, even in children.So in this analysis I will develop knowledge applied in this movie situation which actually is a true story.
Brad Cohen is a kid, who starts having an issue at the age of 6, he has Tourette’ssyndrome, which is a ‘’disease’’ that don’t affect organs or your health, this syndrome just make people making noises, sometimes loud noises and turning their necks from one side to another.
So this guy,Brad, started going to school and his schoolmates, they were not used to see someone making noises, so they did make fun of him every time he made this noises, and made him feel bad. Here we cannotice how the kids react to something they are not used to, aggressively.
This is a reaction the society has been used to for thousands of years, probably this is a defense instinct method, used to facethe unknown.
So in this school he was, he had this teacher, actually he was the principal, so he noticed what was going on, so he made kind of a meeting in the school gym, to help the kid in thissituation and give him the chance to say what he needs to say. That was a kind detail from the principal, so Brad said that he just wanted to be treated like everybody else.
