Introducció
Bé, he escollit aquest segle perquè fou una època d’esplendor per al territori
peninsular en general. Mentre els castellans concentraven les seves forces en

conquerir i explotar Amèrica, la corona d’Aragó a través del regne de València i el
comtats Catalans (elsterritoris coster) continuaren amb una època d’expansió i
comerç a través del mediterrani.
El que pretenc es sintetitzar els canvis fonamentals del segle XVI al territori valencià,
canvis de tipus social, econòmic, polític, expansionista, etc. Tot açò a través de la
informació que puga trobar en les diferents fonts tals com llibres sobre la història de

Valencia i pàgines web també decaràcter històric. Bàsicament obtenir els principals
punts de vista i relacionar-los, ja que tots estan estretament lligats.

Tant el treball com l’assignatura constitueixen una coneixement fonamental per a tot
l’alumnat del País Valencià, és una verdadera llàstima que aquesta matèria siga de
