Control de la Inflación.
Desde 1968 no se había logrado una inflación anual de 3.3%, que fue la cifra final del año2005.
El promedio sexenal anualizado de la Inflación logrado por Fox, fue de 4.45%. Niveles menores solo se lograron en los sexenios de López Mateos y Díaz Ordaz en los años 60.
Desde 1935, en que se iniciaron los períodos sexenales y salvo los de López Mateos y Díaz Ordaz, ningún otro presidente logró mantener la inflación de un dígito en todos los años de su mandato, como lo hizo Vicente Fox.Libre flotación del Tipo de Cambio Peso/Dólar
Este es otro gran logro sexenal, pero a la vez histórico. Puedo afirmar que es la primera vez que el tipo de cambio se mantiene en libre flotación durante todo un sexenio, aún retrocediendo hasta 1935 en que iniciaron los períodos sexenales, pues incluso en los sexenios de López Mateos, Díaz Ordaz y Ávila Camacho que mantuvieron el tipo de cambio...
