Abstract

Microsoft Windows Terminal Server lets users run Windows®-based applications on a remote computer running one of the Windows Server 2003 family of operating systems. This white paper contains testing methodologies, results, analysis, and sizing guidelinesfor Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server. Hewlett Packard worked in cooperation with Microsoft to perform the initial sizing tests and data collection in HP labs. Microsoft performed the final round of testing and analysis collection using Hewlett Packard equipment. The tests were performed using Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition, build 3790.

Microsoft Windows Terminal Server lets users run Microsoft® Windows®–based applications on a remote Microsoft® Windows®  2000 or Microsoft® Windows® 2003–based server. This white paper containstesting methodologies, results, analysis, and sizing guidelines for Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server. Hewlett Packard worked in cooperation with Microsoft to perform the initial sizing tests and data collection in HP labs. Final testing and data collection was performed at Microsoft using Hewlett Packard servers. The tests were performed using Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition, build 3790....
