This Monolithic Liquid-Applied Roofing membrane waterproofs any roof substrate with or without regular slope and withstands water permanently on the roof. Evershield seals the roof on contact and does not require a primer. It provides acompletely tack-free finish which prevents dirt from from sticking to it. Evershield™ is easy to apply and to clean with water. Surface Preparation: Make sure the roof is clean (power wash the roof with a mild detergent) and rinse thoroughly. Remove all loose particles such as gravel, dirt, old coatings, etc. Kill and remove all mildew or fungus growth on the surface by washing it with a solution as described below: Mildew Removal: Remove existing mildew before using Evershield ™. Scrub mildew surfaces with amixture of 1 quart household bleach and 3 quarts warm water. Use a long handled brush. Rinse completely. CAUTION- Read warnings on labels. Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses. Ponding Water Areas: Areas where ponding water lasts 1 day or more must be repaired using roof drains or other corrective measures before applying Evershield™. Repair Cracks And Seams: Make sure cracks, seams and flashing areclean and dry. With a putty knife, apply Siliconizer™ Crack Filler and a polyester weave over cracks, seams, flashing and around any standing objects about 2 inches to both sides, and let dry thoroughly 24 hours before applying Evershield™. Concrete Roofs: Repair holes or any weakened areas of concrete surface with a good quality masonry cement. Paint area to be repaired with LANCO® Bonding Agent;let it dry. Add 1 gallon of LANCO® Bonding to each 50 pounds of cement in the mix; apply concrete mix and let it dry. Repair cracks, (use LANCO® Siliconizer Crack Filler and polyester weave); let dry. Apply one coat of Evershield™ at a rate of 60 sq. ft. per gallon and let dry 24 hours and apply a second coat. Metal: Remove rust and prime with LANCO® Galvanized Metal Primer. Replace loosefasteners. Old fasteners must be covered with Siliconizer™ Crack Filler, let it dry. Apply two coats of Evershield™ at a rate of 60 sq. ft. per gallon and let dry 24 hours between coats. Polyurethane Foam: Repair cracks, holes, and indentation. Where water will collect, apply several layers of LANCO® Siliconizer™ Crack Filler to allow water to drain, let it dry. Apply 2 coats of Evershield™ at a rate of60 sq. ft. per gallon and let it dry 24 hours between coats. Built-up Roofs: Remove all loose gravel and clean roof thoroughly. Repair cracks (use Lanco® Siliconizer™ Crack Filler and polyester weave). Apply one coat of Aqua-Proof™ completely sealing all of the gravel; let it dry 24 hours.
