SPAIN, It is a bi-continental country that is located both in Western Europe and NorthAfrica. In Europe occupying most of the Iberian peninsula, known as mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands archipelago (in the western Mediterranean Sea) in Africa are the cities of Ceuta (on thepeninsula Tingitana) and Melilla (in the Three out of Forcas), the Canary Islands (in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean)

It has an area of 504,645 km ², being the fourth largest country in the continent,after Russia, Ukraine and France.12 With an average altitude of 650 meters is one of the most mountainous countries in Europe. Its population is 47,190,493 inhabitants, according to the 2011 municipalcensus. The mainland shares land borders with France and Andorra to the north, west and Portugal to the British territory of Gibraltar to the south.

CLIMATE
Spain has a very diverse climate throughout its entire territory. Mediterranean character predominates in most of its geography.
