Speak Now is the third studio album by the American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift, released on October 25, 2010 by Big Machine Records. Production for the album took place during2008 to 2010 at several recording studios, and was handled by Taylor and country music producer Nathan Chapman. Written entirely by Swift, Speak Now expands on the country pop style of her previous work,and features lyrical themes concerning love, romance and heartbreaking.

Mine: It is the first song in the album. It was writtenby Taylor Swift and recorded by big machine records in charge of Nathan Chapman. Swift was inspired to write "Mine" after reflecting on one of her unnamed crushes and explained that the song is abouther tendency to run from love. The song contains elements of pop music and its lyrics speak of the ups and downs of a young love.
Back to December: "Back to December" is an apology to a former loverin the form of a song, something that she has never done before. She continued, "I've never felt the need to apologize in a song before. But in the last two years I've experienced a lot, [including] alot of different kinds of learning lessons. And sometimes you learn a lesson too late and at that point you need to apologize because you were careless.
Sparks Fly: The song was written and producedby Swift, with additional production handled by Nathan Chapman. Following a 2007 live performance of the song, the song grew in popularity among Swift's fans. While Swift was working on Speak Now,she had a lot of requests from fans to include the song on the album and she complied. The song speaks of falling in love with somebody that may not be appropriate to fall in love with.
