Sarah Peak is a 21-year-old singer songwriter who fuses virtuosovocal skills with jazz, neo soul, and R&B influences in order to create a unique Pop sound. Born Jan 2nd 1988 in Neptune, New Jersey, Sarah grew up listening to her grandma, a former back upvocalist for the country icon Hank Williams, sing and perform with the rest of her musical family. At a very young age, Sarah moved to Maryland where she attended an all-girl Catholic high school. There,she sang in the school choir and was introduced to Gospel music and soul. Performing since the age of 8, Sarah always showed an exceptional talent as a singer and performer and was chosen to sing forGeorge W. Bush at a Christmas show when she was in the 8th grade. She continued performing throughout high school and eventually auditioned for American Idol and made it past first round.                                                                                                            Sarah then began writing songs when she was 16. As time went by, Sarah learned the art of mixing theaccessibility of pop music with deep personal lyrics in order to reach broad audience’s both fun and emotional facets.
