Biology

- Bacteria: are microscopic organisms whose single cells have neither a membrane-bounded nucleus nor other membrane-bounded organelles like mitochondria andchloroplasts

- Basal body: is an organelle formed from a centriole, and a short cylindrical array of microtubules.

- Aerobic: This word, by itself, simply means "with oxygen," but it comesalive when used as an adjective to describe exercise.

- Anaerobic: is a technical word which literally means without air

- Centriole: is a specialized organelle, also called a cellbody, which is found in the cells of most animals

- Chlorophyll: makes it possible for plants to convert carbon dioxide and water, in the presence of sunlight, into oxygen and glucose

-Chloroplast: A chloroplast is an organelle found only in plant cells.

- Chromosome: n the nucleus of each cell, the DNA molecule is packaged into thread-like structures called chromosomes.9- Cytoplasm: is defined as the material that lies within the cytoplasmic membrane, or the membrane that surrounds a cell.

- Cytoskeleton: a shifting lattice arrangement of structural andcontractile components distributed throughout the cell cytoplasm, composed of microtubules, microfilaments, and larger filaments, functioning as a structural support and transport mechanism

-Endoplasmic reticulum: is an eukaryotic organelle that forms an interconnected network of tubules, vesicles, and cisternae within cells

- Eukaryotic: is an organism whose cells contain complexstructures enclosed within membranes.

- Flagellum: is a tail-like projection that protrudes from the cell body of certain prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, and functions in locomotion.14- Golgi apparatus: is an organelle found in most eukaryotic cells

- Microfilament: are the thinnest filaments of the cytoskeleton found in the cytoplasm of all eukaryotic cells.
