Content Delivery Requirements for iPad & iPhone Apps
(Mashbox & Romplr)
Below are the asset delivery requirements for both applications, ‘MASHBOX (iPad)’ and
‘ROMPLR(iPhone/iPad)’. To simplify the delivery requirements, the process will be
streamlined into 1 easy to follow set of instructions in which the assets can be utilized
by both applications. For anoverview of each application, please see the included
documentation on each individual program and for Romplr, check out the website
www.romplr.com for a first hand look.
• Please send each group ofstems/parts as full-length audio files with the same
start and end points, more precisely, the beginning and ending of the song. For
example, all percussion parts (shakers, congas, bongos, etc.), eachpart
bounced as a single audio file from beginning to end, along with all drum parts,
(kick drums, claps, snares, high hats, etc.) each bounced as single audio files
from beginning to end and soon.
• If there are variations to themes/basslines, such as a variation of a hook/bassline,
please send each variation as itʼs own audio file, again, bounced as the full
length of the song frombeginning to end.
• Also, please send parts such as fills and 1-off type sounds in this same format,
with the start and end points at the beginning and ending of the track to
guarantee correct timing.• All stems should be sent as 16bit / 44.1k WAV files. Please deliver via Aspera or
FTP.
Basically, we would like the full breakout tracks for each element in the song that can be
loaded into asingle project, all with the same starting and ending points. This will
ensure that everything lines up correctly, is in time with one another and that the editing
process will be as efficient aspossible. We will create sub mixes during the editing
process if need be as well.
