Format Requirements:
- TYPED
o 12pt. Times New Roman font
o No more than doubled-spaced
oDefault margins
o No additional spaces before/after name and title
o Must meet minimum page requirements; however may exceed


Option 1: Interview


-You may choose to conduct an in-person interview with a professional using sociology (i.e. a social worker, an academic, a policy analysis) and then write a 3 to 5 page report ontheir profession and how they use sociology. You will be required to submit the interview questions (minimum of 10 questions) and answers along with the report.Option 2: Song Playlist


- You may choose to put together a playlist of 10 songs addressing a social problem(s) and/or advocating for social change (i.e. John Lennon’sImagine). Your written report will include a paragraph (1/2 to 1 page) with each song highlighting specific lyrics (quote them from the song) and explaining why you chose each song.Option 3: Photography


- You may choose to put together a photo portfolio of inequality. You will submit 10 photos (5 are required to be taken by you and theothers may come from the Internet, magazines, etc.) and explanations (1/2 to 1 page each) of what types of inequalities are addressed in each photo.


Option 4: Current Events- You may choose to put together a collection of current events (minimum of 10) related to sociological issues discussed in class. You will submit the current event(i.e. newspaper clipping, magazine article, online article, etc.) and explanations (1/2 to 1 page each) of how such events relate to sociology, not simply a summary of the event.
