Summary:
In the sociology article, what I see considering this basic truth about human nature is thateducation levels have had been a radical solutions regarding to today’s education. We do not want to fail in our lives, thus, we need to start to believe in ourselves the only way to get selfrespect and success is to work for them. What I also learned in this article was that education is the most industrialized nations that consist on reflecting its culture for example Japanese valueis solidarity with the group, and discourage competition among individuals. As a result that’s one reason that their parents spend more for tutors and training classes to prepare theirchildren for the college entrance exams. Meanwhile, Russian changed the nation’s educational system and will continue to reflect its culture. There were many corruptions that students would payfor good grades and for admission to the better schools. In the other hand, in Egypt education was the least industrialized, the poverty was a big issue.

Reading “Essentials ofSociology a-down to earth approach,” by James M. Henslin has becoming an interesting knowledge on me. Educational achievements in the United States and other countries had different thoughtsaccording to their culture. For one thing, he talks about education and how important it is for our future and gives many reasons for teenagers to continue achieving it, in some cases, jobsskills most mastered before you are allowed to do the work. In the early years, there was no free public education therefore some many parents with an average income could not afford to sendtheir children to grade school. Students from now and on should set goals and accomplish them and see what obstacles students passed through around the world and get to value their education.
