Born: February 24, 1955 is
an American business
magnate and inventor.
A week after he was born,
he was put up for
adoption by hismother.
He was adopted by Paul
and Clara Jobs of
Mountain View, Santa
Clara County, California
They gave him the name
“Steven Paul Jobs”





He is well knownfor
being the co-founder
and chief executive
officer of Apple. Jobs
also previously served
as chief executive of
Pixar Animation
Studios.
He became a member
of theboard of The
Walt Disney Company
in 2006, following the
acquisition of Pixar
by Disney.







At that time, Steve Wozniak
was working in the design
ofwhat would be
considered as the first PCs.
The Apple II, which was
released the next year, was
a huge success
In May of 1980, they
released the Apple III. Itwasn’t as popular, but that
same year, Apple became a
publicly traded corporation,
greatly expanding Jobs’
company.

In the early 1980,Jobs was
among the first to see the
commercial potential of the
mouse-driven graphical user
interface which led to the
creation of the Macintosh.
The first figuresof Mac sales
looked very promising.
However, the differences of
treatment between the
former Lisa group and the
Mac group hurt the company.





on March 18, 1991, and had 3
children
In 2004, Jobs announced that
he had a tumor in his pancreas.
It was a less threatening type of
pancreaticcancer, however,
and on July 31, he had surgery
to remove the tumor. He did
not need further chemotherapy
or radiation therapy.
