Strategic Planning Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
I think the most important characteristics in this unit are having a strong and firm basis of what planning consist, how is it done, who does it, andwhat is the final purpose of it.
In this point we remember that when we design an strategy for a plan we must assign a person or a team work that has the attitudes and capabilities to organize, informand direct towards to the other coworkers, and those people could contribute too, having firm basis to planning strategies, to help in making decisions, and inviting the others to participate, toexplore the strength, and to find out the threats, having tangible terms goals, and models or guides to reach the Mission, Vision, and Objectives
The strategic leader must consider both the internal andexternal points of view, understand them to improve, he should communicate to all of the company about the Mission, Vision, and Objectives, involve the others and tell them about the projects, heshould also be alert in all the ways to could reach the objectives, and although about new tendencies related with business technology, process and systems.
Another topic that we should consider whenplanning, is working with the others as an example providers, directives, and employs´ coordinators, to have a good communication with the members of an organization to build a business change, creatingimprovements, and create the strategies to acquire, develop and retain talent people that has the knowledge and fundamental skills to identify challenges, and opportunities in the environment, thosepeople should be reward, or in the other hand take the appropriate measures to correct a bad action, in order to work in the same line to be able to reach the goals.
