Is okay for physicians to help with the right to suicide? H.S. Cohen says that yes it is right to choice to make and do. Euthanasia is a way of life and people have the right-to-die if they pleased. He quotes that many benefits come fromassenting the patient. He thinks that we should mix personal right and personal beliefs need to be put out of the way. On the counterargument side Herbert Hendin and Gerald Klermen says it is wrong to assist suicide. There focus this issues as a mental-issues that can be treated. They quote there is a lot we don’t know about the patient to let them kill themselves,” we need to study them more”. Theyalso think that people who want to die come a from a background of depression that can be cured with time and therapy. There is another option other than death.

H.S. Cohen belives euthusasia is the way of life that is only here to help the terminal illnesses that are sicknesses like aids/ abates any physical sickness that limited a person to do things. Patients that have hadstrokes and that can’t move can the option of taking the option of taking the death. People with this kind of illness are the ones suffering and taking the pain. Many sickness don’t have cures and people don’t know when will be found. If you were a person with a chronic disease and are suffering of pain & agony but can’t kill yourself you would be able to make that decision with a physician. Hewould be able to help you with your acceptance known as your suicide. You want this to happen with a physician a person who is experiencing and knows what he or she is doing. You would like it get done the first time. There is always the chance of you trying to kill yourself and you might end up hurting yourself and resulting to more pain. Cohen says this would be easier know now and how you’re dyinginstead of waiting for that moment.

Yes suicide an indival thing Cohen believes. It should be assisted by a physician’s not only for things to come out correctly but because they can be informed of the process. We not have this option but also have the right as citizens of the United States of America. This is a free country and we are allowed to make decisions if we want to liveor die with dignity. Doctors should recommend it patient that have no hope, not the people who have the desire of not living. He sees a doctor as an agent. A person who will inform up and give you feed back like a car agent when you are about to buy a car they are going to give you advice about the car but the end of the day it’s up to the patient decide.

Depression is usually abig part of suicides. People fall into a deep depression where the person don’t care about anything that all that runs through there head is not living.
