SUMMARY OF THE BOOK THE WITCHES OF PENDLE

This book offers readers a lot of imagination because people who are reading it could feel what the players are feeling, in that way I could say I reallyenjoyed this fantastic book, the writer used vocabulary which was easy to understand, the main idea of the book is talk about how people could feel when they are witches or even when they don’t, thestory is about a woman who lived with witches all of them were her relatives, they were in jail and at the end people lie and she went to prison, the story impressed me, I really enjoy reading it.The first part of the book talk about how she feels at prison, the whole book is talked in first person, so she begin talking about how is the life there, how is she living, her name is Jennet Device,she was at jail because of a child’s lie, she also speak about one visit she had of an strange person who was Mr. Webster an old man from the church, he was there for giving Jennet some food and totalk a little ,they talked about the little town where she used to live, also she tried to tell him that she was not a witch, he already knew, he told her that he already has asked about the lie of thatboy called Edmund Robinson, the kid was forced by his father to tell lies, so most of people believed that story but other not.

Then in the first chapter she started to speak about her life whenshe was child and about something strange that happened when she one day was with her sister looking for food they met the pedlar and her sister started to ask for money telling him they were veryhungry, but this man did not want to give them some food or money, he ran away and when he was running Alizon’s dog attacked, all neighbors were there and the girls ran away, the man was not dead but hewas so sick.

In the next chapter she speaks about a gentleman called Roger Nowell, he was a rich and important man in the town, he was at her home, because al the neighbors asked him to...
