INTRODUCTION A. B. This manual covers portable chillers from 5 to 40 tons. When calling for assistance fromthe Manufacturer’s Service Department, it is important to know the model and serial number of the particular unit. The model number encodes critical unit information which is helpful in any attempt to troubleshoot operating difficulties. The serial number allows the service team to locate manufacturing and testing records which can have additional information relating to a particular unit.
