Civil War Battles

In the past days the civil war has presented one of the biggest battles in the american history.”The Batle of Gettysburg” hs been a very long and bloodybattle. The confederate side was leaded by general Lee which seems to be that they mght be loosing the battle. It seems that they might retreat, we will informe you in thenext article.
The battle of cold harbor has been one of the most sanginary battles in the civil war. In teh past days the nationalists had losts lots of army members whichcould cause the losts of the battle. 1,705 had been killed and many many wounded. Genral Sheridan needed to destroy Lees railroads and continue the fight due to all the northlost.

Yorktown

The americans the the french were fighting against the british. The british were commanded general cornwallis . French by general Rocheambu which was an alliewith George Washington. The armies size in this battle are of 8,800 Americans, 7,800 French and 6,000 British.With these numbers we could see how the odds are with the UnitedStates and France. Through both sides are armed with muskets and guns these might take to a good battle but quite bloody. The winner of the battle was United stated and thefrench army due to their stratergy and the anount of army.
During the revolutionary war more lives were taken because of diseases than weaponery. We can see that n the pastrevolutionary war more than 25,000 americans were killed in war. 8,000 during battle action and 17,000 beacuse of diseases. The number of Revolutionaries who were very wounded ordisaible by war has been between 10,000 and 25,000. We can see by these that we have had one of the biggest and most bloodiest revolutions in the history of North america.
