BRICS
“BRICS“ is the acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, China and most recently the Republic Of South Africa. This countries are together in an association of emerging countries, it spouses thatthis are the most powerful emerging economies at the time. This idea comes to the fact that the members of the BRICS are developing the newest industry, and they being incrementing their respectiveGDP.
This economies have pass trough hard cultural conditions. In 1998 Brazil emerged from a military rule, and overcame a period of hard economy conditions, leading to a period of incredible economystability. Russia emerged form the ashes of the Soviet Union, and applying harsh but necessary economic reforms, they are gathering power one more time. Indian history is equally incredible, leadingalmost two decades of rapid and constant growth. South Africa, although a new member, this country has leaded the world’s eyes to the African continent. But the most impressive member of the BRICS iswith out a doubt, the letter “C”. China has become the second largest economy, displacing Japan in only a few decades, and according to Goldman Sachs, it will take only six years from China to overtakethe United States.
The rapid growth of China has work as an example for other emerging economies, and is leading the world to a next stage of global hegemony, were the US would move a secondposition in power.
The term “BRIC” was created in June of 2006, to introduce into the stock as the “BRIC 50 index”, to introduce a basket of 50 of the biggest companies listed on the stock markets ofBrazil, Russia, India and China, with an initial market capitalization of $446 billion.
The BRICS are a good option for international investors for many reasons, but in the analysis of the bigpicture one reason that highlights from the rest is the amount of international reserves of each country and the fact that they are willing to create a financial organization to help the member...
