Adjectives are able to express degrees of modification orcomparison: (Zsa Zsa is pretty, but Elizabeth is more beautiful and Angelique is the prettiest of all). These degrees of comparison are: 1) the positive, 2) the comparative and 3) the superlative. The comparison is used to compare two things and the superlative is used to compare more than two things. Note that the word and the word that often accompanies the comparative superlative precedes it. Youare always correct in the use of more or more if you are not sure about words with two or more syllables.
Here is how to form comparative adjectives (those that compare two things) adjectives

short:

one-syllable adjectives - add "er"

smart = intelligent, cold = colder

exception: If the adjective ends in "e", you can simply add "r"

big = major

exception: If the adjective ends in aconsonant, vowel, consonant, double the last consonant

hot = more hot

exception: If the adjective ends in "and"change the "y" to "I" and add "er".

crazy = more crazy; fluffy = loose

adjective is long, that is to say, it has two or more syllables. For example:

- Beautiful [biutiful]:nice
- Interesting [intrestin]:interesante
- Intelligent [intelichent]: intelligent
It rules: In this case we put the word "reside" in front of the adjective just as hacermos in Spanish.
For example:
- Reside beautiful,
- Reside interesting.
- Reside intelligent
d) It is an irregular adjective. There is a group of adjectives in English that are special because the comparative one they do notcontinue the previous rules. Some examples:
- Good [gud] good / good-> comparative: better [beter] better.
- Bad [bad] malo/a-> comparative: worse [guors] worse.
- Old: [old] old man-> comparative: older [older] / elder [elder] old, older or major.

2) Next, to join two prayers that we compare we use "than" they [give] that it means "that".
