Prólogo
Esta publicación contiene unacolección de problemas resueltos de Mecánica de Suelos. Estos problemas han
sido propuestos en los últimos años en los estudios de Ingeniería Técnica de Obras Públicas de la UPC
o

(primer cuatrimestre de la asignatura de Geotecnia de 2 curso) para su resolución por parte de los alumnos.
La colección no coincide exactamente con la utilizada en la actualidad en dicha asignatura ya que, enparticular, se proporcionan a los alumnos nuevos enunciados procedentes fundamentalmente de exámenes
que, en su mayoría, se han resuelto en seminarios específicos.
Durante los primeros años en que se impartió la asignatura, los problemas propuestos se desarrollaban en
clase pero no se disponía de su resolución por escrito. Posteriormente, y a solicitud de los alumnos, se fue
preparando un borradorde las resoluciones que, progresivamente mejoradas en contenido y formato, ha dado
lugar a esta publicación. La necesidad de finalizarla en un tiempo razonable ha impedido que se pudiese
actualizar totalmente la colección, en especial en lo relativo a problemas de examen resueltos en seminarios.
