Born and raised in Santiago, a small town in Dominican Republic. I have always felt the need tocreate thing based on the environment and what it makes me fell. People inspired me in how they have their own unique philosophy of life. I consider creative person and myself as a expressive,disciplined who want to improve my Arts skills with what new and old methods can teach. I graduated of Fine Arts and Illustration from Altos de Chavon School of Design 2010, in order of that I decided tomove to Portland in 2011 to improve my English skills.

Now I am opening up to more possibilities to transform what I am into something new. Thinking that the environment a ects and in uences aperson powerfully, therefore I am very inspired by this city full of Art and new things for me. There are any rules to follow just what the present and the feeling of the moment tell to do. Myart could be inspired from simple things but always with a strong concept that arouse reactions on people. The concept will always be more important than the technique, as long as the techniquesupports the concept. My art always re ects my surroundings with the lter of my emotions and thoughts, however do not be surprised because my sense of humor can be twisted. I have many ways todescribe acording on the concept or what I want to say. For someone who wants to grow and learn in the art world no matter where, when or how but the desire and enthusiasm you put in the creation is whatgoing to matter at the end. The Maine College of Art is a perfect place for any artist who wants to develop many arts skills. It would be an honor for me to be part of MECA, which I consider theperfect place in Portland to develop as an artist. I may say that I have a connection with this town. It may be amazing to study here because I feel very inspired by this city.
