Summary
Describes chamela, JaliscoCentruroides sp. Nov. in Chamela in the State of Jalisco, Mexico. Compared with C. elegans (Thorell), species with which it is sympatric. Also compares with the morphologically and geographically closest species: C. pet Ponce-Saavedra and Francke, C. hirsutipalpus Ponce-Saavedra and Francke and C. tecomanus Hoffmann. In addition, with C. meisei Hoffmann, inhabiting the coast of Guerrero, because this taxon had regarded assubspecies of C. elegans. The comparison includes C. infamatus (C.L. Koch) and C. ornatus(Pocock), for being "striped" species recorded for the State of Jalisco.

Abstract
Chamela, Jalisco Centruroides sp. Nov. from Chamela, Jalisco, Mexico is described. The new species is compared primarily with C. elegans Thorell, because both species are sympatric. It is also compared with C. pet Ponce-Saavedra et Francke, C. hirsutipalpus Ponce-Saavedra et Francke and C. tecomanus Hoffmann which are morphologically and geographically nearest to the new species. Centruroides meisei Hoffmann, which inhabits the coast of warrior is compared because this species was previously classified as a subspecies of C.elegans. Finally,C. infamatus (C.L. Koch) and C. ornatus (Pocock) are included in the comparisons because they are also present in the state of Jalisco, and belong to the "striped" section of the genus.
Key words: Buthidae, Centruroides, new species, systematics, Jalisco, Mexico.

Introduction
Currently, Centruroides Marx, 1890 contains 66 species and 10 subspecies, all of the new world, of which there havebeen 37 species for Mexico (of weapons et al., 2003;) Ponce-Saavedra y Moreno, 2005; Rein, 2010;(Francke, unpublished data). These data already include 2 species that have been raised to the specific category in recent years (De Armas and Martín Frías, 2008;) Ponce-Saavedra et al., 2009) and 1 recently described (Ponce-Saavedra and Francke, 2011). Pocock (1902) is the first author that separatesthe alacranes "stripes" of the genus Centruroides in have uniform coloration. Separates them in 3 species, one of which is C. elegans(Thorell, 1876), which with its 4 different lines on the carapace differs with ease of C. vittatus (Say, 1821) andC. ornatus (Pocock, 1902), species with a carapace without defined and obscured lines mostly by black pigment. This separation was subsequently retaken byHoffmann (1932), to form 2 recognizable groups of scorpions "striped": A) with 4 defined lines and B) without defined lines and most of the carapace with black pigment.Subsequently, González-Santillán (2001) proposes a grouping thinner for all species of the genus, which in most cases takes some species as a reference to nominate them and allows to recognize 4 groups of species: (a) "striped"group, which includes species with two longitudinal bands obscure flanking a yellow band mesal that gives them the "striped" appearance and with 4 lines well defined in the carapace or dark pigment without definite lines; (b) group "bertholdii", which are species with 8 rows or series of dots on the inner rim of the fingers of the pedipalps and without "stripes" dorsally; (c) group "gracilis",...
