There comes a point ineveryone’s life when you do not know how to overcome the obstacles life presents. “You’re not sorry” describes how she decided to step up and forget the thingsshe has been through with the person and start all over. It was inspired by an ex-boyfriend who was later revealed to be opposite of what Swift had originallythought. Taylor Swift is one of America’s best-selling country artists and she is a role model for many girls. Basically every teenage girl can relate toher songs, because she doesn’t only write about love like people say, she also writes songs about self-esteem and about life experiences, like growing up.The song is a favorite because the situation presented in the song is one many girls go through. It is a stage in everyone’s life, meeting a person whoyou though was different and that person turning out to be the complete opposite. It is a very devastating situation that we must all conquer and find waysto forget them. Music helps a lot when you cannot find the words to express what you want to say, you look for a song that has everything that your heart istoo afraid to shout out. You might find two or three songs that each say a little bit. But you might also find the perfect song that has everything youfeel. When you find the song you realize that you can’t get it out of your mind and you sing to it 24/7 in this case it is Taylor Swift’s “You’re not sorry”
