Many times teachers do not plan their lessons thinking about the skills that students should develop during the course in the secondary school. As a result, students do not improve the four basicskills, and they can not understand nor express their ideas in English; consequently, the student`s learning is poor and when they are in other level of education, they suffer because they did not learnwhat they were supposed to study in the secondary school, in other words students do not develop their communicative competence. Analyzing those points, I focused on why the use of grammar in ourclasses is important, and how to practice the four basic skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and acquire vocabulary at the same time but having some fun.

The topic “Teaching grammarcommunicatively” was chosen because sometimes the students get bored in the class and it is necessary to have a good teaching in the classroom, also it is essential to know what is the main andimportant knowledge that students will acquire during the academic year. For this reason, it is highly important to have a goal in each class. Using games, learning strategies, attractive materials, as amatter of fact, can help and encourage many students to sustain their interest and work.

(I decided to apply this didactic proposal in second grade “B” and third “A” during the academic year 2009 –2010 in the Secondary School 0122 “Lic. Andres Molina Enriquez” located in, Jilotepec, México). The main aim to apply this didactic proposal was teaching grammar, in order to develop the communicativecompetence through stimulating and interesting ways to help students to acquire the target language without even realizing it.
