For the approval of this subject you are required to observe ten English classes for the accomplishment of this activity you should follow these strategies :

• Read carefully what the didactic observation consist of, its purpose, objectives.

• Ask for permission in the secondary schools either public or private for the performance of this activity.

• Interview English theTeachers you will observe before the teaching practice observation to explain what you will do(You should explain them the purpose for observing the class is just to learn and get experience about the teaching process)

• You have a letter for the Principal of the Institution where you are going to observe the classes. It is an authorization for you to observe classes in this place.

•Ask the principal to sing the letter, and after you have the acceptance in the Institution interview teachers to know the class details( objectives, strategies to be follow etc..)

• Use the observation card (one per each observed class) to complete all the points that are required in it.

• You must print your signature at the end of each card( as the observe) and ask the principal orsupervisor to sign it as well. Print the seal of the Institution on it.

• For the first two months, observe five English classes to the first, second and third grades or eight, ninth or tenth grades of Basic Education as they are called in the Curricular Reform and for the second two months to the fourth, fifth and sixth grades ( or first, second and third grades of High School).

□Write a comment after each class observation. (50 words). Comment the most relevant aspect during the class development.

□ The comment is going to be used in the qualitative analysis. Focus your attention on stages followed in the class.

□ Make a qualitative analysis for each five observation. One for the first bimester and one for the second bimester.

How to write the qualitativeanalysis

□ You need to use the information collected on the comments of each observation class.

□ You have to write about all the steps you consider were relevant during the class development.

□ You must write about features such as : Time expended in each activity, the importance of the class sequence, the strategies identifying the purposes to use each one.

PRACTICEINSTRUCTIONS

□ You should follow the stages that are included for the lesson plan in the guide.

□ You should be cautions when designing the objectives in the plan, they must be related exclusively to the class theme. They may be instructional and must be proved at the end of the class. The evaluation measures the objectives attainment; therefore, it must be related to what you attain inthe objectives.

□ You should Include the scientific presentation (photocopies); that is, everything related to the class theme; reading, charts, drawings, diagrams, tables, tasks, etc. The didactic resources that you have used in the class must also be included.

Where are you going to practice?

□ The educational Institution to practice can be private, public, religious or anyother kind and the textbook will be the one used in the Institution or by the teacher.

□ You can practice in the 8th, 9th and 10 th years the first five lessons. The rest of the practice must be performed in the “bachillerato” level.

□ The supervisor is the teacher of English in charge of this subject in the classroom. Therefore, he or she must fill the annexes mentioned before.

□We won’t accept lesson plans written with pencil or pen. They must be typed correctly by using computer or typewriter.

How many practices do you have to make?

□ You have to make 10 practices during the semester.

□ You can send five practices in the first term and five practices in he second one.

□ You can also send the ten practices in the first term or in the second...
