Digital Boards in a Spanish Classroom
We live in a world today that is run by technology. New generations are becoming more aware of technology than thegeneration before. As the years have gone by, I have experienced this first hand. While living in today’s world, I have seen countless children as young as five years old handling some sort oftechnology. Whether it be an ipad or an iphone, they still know more about technology than I did when I was their age. If the youth of today is so aware of technology then it should be used to help them,while in school for example. A new technology that is being used in classrooms is using digital boards.

The way in which the digital board works is that it is like a computer with a touch screen onthe wall. Students can go on the Internet just like any computer, except the entire class can see the screen and the activities can be done on the board. Students can highly benefit from this newtechnology.
Digital boards can positively influence classroom participation. With the entire class being able to see the screen, students can participate in activities such games that could help teacha concept of the Spanish language. The digital board can aid a teacher in presenting a lesson by allowing them to project video clips or Internet sources such as articles.
A classroom with a digitalboard can aid in teaching about a different culture and diversity. Showing video clips of people from Spanish speaking countries can show students a different culture. Playing Spanish songs on suchprograms as Spotify can also help in showing students another culture.
