DESCRIPCION:
Es unmaterial combustible sólido, frágil y poroso con un alto contenido en carbono (de orden del 80%). Se produce por calentamiento de madera y otros residuos vegetales, hasta temperaturas que oscilan entre400 y 700°C en ausencia del aire. Se usa como combustible, no solo de uso doméstico sino también industrial.
