Activity D: Tell the true story of an experience of breaking up.

Carla and Marcos started dating when they were both very young. Carla was 15 years old and Marcos 18. They studied in the samehigh school and used to see each other everyday so they were unspeakable. When Marcos graduated he went to study to Ohio, to Dayton University. Carla at that time was just a Junior in high school. Theynever broke up. They trusted each other and passed these difficult separation. After his first year Marcos returned to Puerto Rico to study at the Universidad Politecnica, because he was very homesickand missed his girlfriend. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Carla graduated from high school and started studying at Universidad del Sagrado Corazon. They were always together andmade everything together, they were just like a married couple. After being together for four years and having the time of their life, traveling to New York CIty to visit their friends and going oncruises with Marcos parents for Thanksgiving and New Years they started fighting oftently, doing things separately and spending time alone. Carla started to feel signs of depression and she did not wantto go to her classes, she used to say her future was all a ruin, because he was all she had. Marcos, started to get a little bit tire of Carla, he said she was very jealous and controlling. After a bigfight they had one day, they sat together and talked each other with the truth and everything was back to normal. Carla dreamed marrying Marcos and since they had been together for over five yearsshe started talking to Marcos about wedding plans, asking him when they were going to get married and things like that. That New Year's vacation Marcos went on a cruise wih his family and Carla couldnot go because she was with her family too. Before Marcos left he told Carla he loved her with all his heart and that he wanted someday to marry her, that he would not do anything in the cruise...
