ABOUT ME

Objective:
Presentation of the new part of the course as well as make a review to see how much vocabulary they remember about the first part of the course “English 1” and setup the rules.

Activity 1: “Presentation”

Aim: To get a comfortable and friendly environment in the classroom.
Material:
* No needed material.
Procedure:
1. The teacher willarrive to the classroom with a positive attitude.
2. He/she will introduce him/her self by telling his/her name, and asking if they remember who he/she is.
3. After that, the teacher will askthem some questions about what they did during the time we did not meet.
Preparation:
* In case students do not remember how to introduce themselves the teacher will help them by giving a fastreview of how to do it.
* In case students do not want to participate, the teacher will ask to someone to answer the question.(the less shy students)
Timing: 10 minutes

Activity 2: “Rules”Aim: To show students the new rules of the English class.
Material:
* Rule’s poster.
Procedure:
1. The teacher will ask them if they remember the rules of the class.
2. They willdiscuss the rules all them together in order that all the kids remember the rules.
3. Then, the teacher will show them the rule’s poster and the discipline plan.
Preparation:
* In case thatthe kids do not understand the teacher will do mimic in order that kids understand each rules.
* In case that the teacher forgets the rule’s poster, he/she will write on the board the rules.Rules: 1. - I keep my working area clean. 2. - I raise my hand if I want to say something to the teacher. 3. - I return all materials to their owner. 4. - I listen to other people`s opinion. 5. - I keephands and feet to myself. 6. - Swearing is prohibited. 7. - I ask the teacher for permission when I want to go o to the classroom. 8. - I follow the instructions that the teacher gives.
