Pablo: well there are a lot of things that i want to mention and I don’t really know how to start, so i will open this essay with the organization of the classes. Well I think that the classes wereappropriate for our level, due we had to present the topics that the teacher gave us in the book, and the part that I really liked was that the teacher divided the course in two parts, the firstpreviously mentioned, that was to present the theory and the other part that was to get all the previous theory in practice, I considered this point very important because related with other classmates thattook the same subject with a different teacher, their comments were not good, they accomplished about the organization and the meaningful knowledge that they acquired during this course. The pointthat I consider for improving, is that the reviews and advances that that the teacher was revising should be in our classroom because in his office there were a lot of distractors for the teacher and myclassmates.
Taking about what I learnt, I can say many significant things, but I will start to describe them in order to the themes, well first, we talked about the “needs analysis” I regard thistopic like the basis of any curriculum, for me was very essential to learnt about this one, because it shows what your students really need, I mean in a very common phrase; to think in the real world,in the real life, this topic also is focused on identifying the group to which the curriculum is leaded. The next topic is Goals and objectives; this one helped to me to understand and notice thedifferences between goals and objectives, but also I learn something new, that in the previous topic, I got the needs of my group, and then we converted in objectives and goals. Teaching, that is relatedto the methodology was my favorite topic, because of that, we could discover a very interesting approach, it is called “Reggio Emilia Approach”, which consists in the early development of children...
