RESUMEN

El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad desarrollar una propuesta arquitectónica viable que responda con las necesidadesactuales del municipio de Maracaibo en el área de salud y que promueva el desarrollo de más estructuras y proyectos relacionados a la salud mental del estado Zulia en general. En la actualidad los servicios asistenciales en el área de salud mental están alarmantemente deficientes, anticuados y desafortunadamente aun no se han tomado cartas en el asunto utilizando instalaciones ya obsoletas y pocoprácticas para sus actividades y usos. Por medio de un diseño innovador, atractivo y cómodo para su adecuado uso, se logrará asistir de manera correcta, respetable y actualizada a las específicas patologías mentales que necesiten de su ayuda, sin embargo otro objetivo importante a cubrir es eliminar las connotaciones despectivas que las Instituciones Mentales suelen tener ante la sociedad engeneral e invitar a la población a un espacio renovado y adecuado para servir a un área importante de la salud humana.

ABSTRACT

The next document has the goal to develop a viable architect proposal that responds to all the present needs of the municipally of Maracaibo in the health area and to promote the development of more structures and projects related to the mental health of the Zulian state in general. On the present daysthese care service in the health area are alarming deficient, outdated and unfortunate no one has take business of it using outdated installations making hard the right use of them. By a innovative design, attractive and comfortable for its right use, it will be possible to update and take care in the right ways the main mental pathologies that need help, however another important goal is to vanishall the negative connotations that Mental Institutions has on society and make people join a refresh and innovate space appropriate to serve the very important mental health.
The project’s design came from a premeditated generator concept: “Urban Asymmetric Extrusion”. This concept would express the volumetric conception of the building itself which responds to close urban forces that rise itfrom the urban profile, making a breaking through energy field but that still has relation with its environment.
