I. ReadingComprehension Answer these questions about the reading passage.
A Graduating from college is a rite of passage from adolescence to adulthood
for many young people. After finishing high school,teenagers begin their
studies and emerge from the university as young adults. At first, they may
not be sure of what to study, but after two years, they decide on a major.Then they have to take the required courses and get good grades. If they
pass all their exams, they receive a bachelor´s degree.
B The graduation ceremony marks theculmination of four years of study, and
most universities require students to wear a cap, kind of “hat”, and a gown, a
kind of robe. This type of dress was common in the 13 th century whenpeople wore it to keep warm in cold buildings. Now students wear it only at
graduation, and each college has special colors that identify not only their
players atsports events but also their graduates.
C A few weeks before graduation, students rent or buy a cap and gown from
