Hannah Baker once said: “Be careful how you treat people, you never know how it will affectthem”. You might ask yourself who is Hannah Baker? Well first of all, she is a character from the book “Th1rteen R3asons Why”. The novel is about a girl who committed suicide. One day, Clay Jensen camehome and found a mysterious box with his name on top. Inside he discovers several cassettes tapes recorded by Hannah Baker, his crush and classmate. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteenreasons why she decided to end her life.
Jay Asher, author of the book, wanted to express the dark secrets of a teenager. He also created others books but Thirteen Reasons Why and The Future of Usare the famous ones. The Future of Us is another interesting one but we are not talking about that for now. My opinion about this author is that he really expresses the truth meaning of a teenager life.While reading the book, you will find thirteen reasons why a ninth grade girl wanted to commit suicide. A girl name, Hannah is new in town and she is trying to make a new life here. That is whereher first reason starts, the boy she first kissed, Justin. Next on the snowball (like Hannah calls it) is Alex, the one who put her as the hottest ass in the freshman class on his hot or not list. Thesnowball speeds up! Jessica, one of her first friends. She angered by the fact the Hannah is on the hot list, while she’s on the “not” list. Her and Alex used to have a thing.
The fourth one, Tyler-- a boy who stalked her. Outside her own bedroom window, she called him a Peeping Tom. Fifth, Courtney -- a really nice girl. A girl who hurts people without even knowing it. The reason she was niceit was for people to vote her the nicest for senior yearbook.
