Holly Hooper is an Englishgirl, she lives in Manchester and she’s twelve years old, quiet and loves books. She has two brothers, Kev and Trev. The boys are seventeen, noisy andlove football.
One September morning, Kev has three tickets for the Barcelona game, and three tickets for the aeroplane . But their father, Dad, hasgot a bad cold. Then their mother thinks and he says “you can take Holly”. Because it’s the summer holidays and she’s doing Spanish at school too.The next day, Wednesday, the two brothers and Holly leave for Spain. When they arrive at Barcelona airport, they stop suddenly. Holly can see a bighole in her bag. She buys a new bag, but it have “Barcelona” on it.
Holly want see the cathedral, the Olympic Stadium or “Las Ramblas”, but herbrothers want to go to Tibidabo. When they arrive at Tibidabo Holly walks to the café and her brothers go a big wheel. He sits down at the next tablehas a man, and he has a bag with “Barcelona” on it.
When he leaves, she sees her bag and this isn’t her bag. She stands up and a boys on a motorbikehelps she. They follow the taxi’s man for a long time. She sees the Olimpic Stadium, “Las Ramblas” and Barcelona’s cathedral.
At the end the manreturns her bag. Holly has her bag, whit her brothers go at Nou Camp football stadium. She smiles, then she opens “Oliver Twist” and starts to read.
